Why should I invest?
When every family invests, HSC can continue existing services and develop new programs to support our students and teachers. Don't let our children's education suffer due to lack of funding from the State, District, or our tax dollars!
How much do I invest?
We recommend $160 per student or $300 per family to continue benefiting from HSC's programming.
Do I have to donate the suggested amount?
No. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. You are welcome to donate less or more and we encourage everyone to participate at a level they are comfortable with.
Are there any incentives for participating?
Your investment is 100% tax deductible and enriches the academic experience for every student at Cherrywood. The first upper (3rd - 5th) and lower (K - 2nd) grade classroom to get 100% participation from every student will also win an indoor recess cart filled with games and activities for rainy days. The upper and lower grade classrooms with second highest participation will win a backpack full of classroom supplies for their teacher.
If I have more than one student, how does the class prize work?
Each investment counts as participation for all students in the same family. Please make sure to list all students in the family on the Cheddar Up form.
Is this to join HSC?
No, HSC membership is $20 per family and is a separate payment. We encourage all families to become members of HSC whether or not they contribute to the Invest Campaign.
Can I bring a check instead?
We encourage you to use the online link to invest so that it's easier for HSC to track the funds. However, if you are not able to do it online we will accept checks made payable to Cherrywood Home and School Association. Please drop off the check to the front office and note that it is for the Invest Campaign (write your child's full name and homeroom teacher's name in the memo).
