1. Complete the BUSD form for approval to volunteer on Cherrywood's school campus in person.

2. Submit the form to the Cherrywood office along with your TB clearance.

3. Forms take at least two weeks to be processed by the district.

4. Once you receive notification that your application has been approved, contact your child's teacher or HSC for volunteer assignments.

Complete forms A, B, C along with the Student Verification form (mailed to your home) and return it to the office on the first day of school.

Joining HSC doesn't mean you have to volunteer.  While we would love to have extra help, we know that not every person has the time, patience, or ability to volunteer.  Your voice is valuable, and your membership is welcome regardless of your ability to volunteer. Membership perks include voting rights, discounts to events, and more!

Fill out the membership form online or print it out and submit it with your payment to the front office.  

• Complete this form to express your interest in volunteering and what committees/areas you are considering.  

• Be on the look out for an introductory email from hsc_secretary@cherrywoodhsc.org after submitting the form.

Room Parents are required to:

1. Attend a Room Parent orientation

2. Submit a BUSD volunteer application and be approved to volunteer on campus

3. Commit for the entire school year

Room Parent Role:

• HSC Liaison

• Classroom helper

• Coordinate parties/celebrations

• Help with field trips

• Recruit class volunteers

• Organize teacher appreciation gifts
